We do not mean to be any slight to the "big NE clubs", as we will most definitely cover news that is important that pertains to them. Gotta redo my Google account - the password thing is a pain in the butt.<BR/><BR/>Wanted to wish you good luck and get a comment up for you. See the site name suggests no bias, but sounds like it might be more oriented towards the "underappreciated" teams. Remember, fans of the "big NE clubs" are people too! I've never perceived as much of the media bias in the big sports media as many I've met here at DRB - I think it's predominantly a product of who's winning. Of course, that they (ESPN particularly) live right between the "Beasts of the East" likely has an impact, and I think they can get caught up in the fantastic passion involved in what that rivalry inspires. Plus you have to expect any national media company to tend to try to kiss up a bit to the biggest markets - it's a matter of the economics of ratings. But winning gets you attention. Not to be petty, but that has been a problem down there in the Sunshine State. The Marlins have had their moments, of course (including 1 very personally painful one), but their interesting approach to team building has squandered some of the positivity to us outsiders.<BR/><BR/>I thought you should call the site "Going to the Matts" - though people might think it's a WWF site or something. <BR/><BR/>Anyway, good luck.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
